“Vaquita – The Search for the Desert Porpoise” is made possible through collaboration from of a number of science, conservation, and community groups including earthOCEAN, Marine Mammal Commission, The Ocean Foundation, Instituto Nacional de Ecologia, NOAA FIsheries – Southwest Fisheries Science Center, Noroeste Sustentable, Alto Golfo Sustentable, CEDO – Intercultural Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans, and WWF Mexico.
The aim of Vaquita.tv is to encourage conversation and debate in the aid to conserve the vaquita porpoise in Mexico. This multimedia education program is meant to raise awareness and provide a place for sharing information in the conservation of the species. This website is maintained and produced by earthOCEAN media, a specialist in science communication and non-profit media along with members of partner organizations.
The website content and comments presented on Vaquita.tv are not necessarily reflective of the views of the partnering organizations.
