Vaquita – Last Chance for the Desert Porpoise is a project of earthOCEAN, an environmental media company based in Melbourne, Australia specializing in producing non-for profit educational programs. earthOCEAN is a sponsored initiative of The Ocean Foundation (TOF), a 501(c)3 based organization in Washington, DC.
As the fiscal sponsor of earthOCEAN, The Ocean Foundation provides the not-for-profit expertise, experience and stewardship that are helping to us produce multimedia programs like this to inspire people about critical marine conservation issues and provide free access to them.
By donating, you will help us in maintaining this website, translate blogs from a variety of people in vaquita conservation, distrube DVDs to local communities without internet access, help fund local education initiatives in the upper gulf, continue to follow the Vaquita story, and produce up to date stories that do not get the attention of mainstream media.
Vaquita – The Search for the Desert Porpoise was funded by grants from the Ocean Foundation and the United States Marine Mammal Commission.
Sincerely,
Chris Johnson
